Matt Mclachlan

Matt is the General Manager of Land Development at Devcorp, with over 20 years’ experience in the land development industry. Matt holds a Master’s in Planning from Lincoln University and has an in-depth knowledge of the development process. His strengths are, his knowledge of consent requirements, and the ability to identify issues at an early stage and find solutions to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time and within budget. He previously worked within a multi-disciplinary company, holding a senior position where his focus was on the planning aspects of several significant housing projects in the Canterbury region. 

Matt oversees everything from feasibility studies, subdivision design, through to resource consent applications, working with a range of consultants and local authorities to bring projects to life. Projects include residential, commercial, and industrial developments, ranging in size from two lots to 800 lots, as well as consents for various land use activities. Matt also sees his involvement continuing post-consent to ensure compliance with conditions are met, and delivered through to completion.
